Seize the day by seizing the clay and embark upon a unique team-building adventure as you and your colleagues ditch the spreadsheets and take to the kiln to fire your own creations be it pots, bowls, dishes, vases, mugs and more.

The Pottery Workshop team-building experience starts when you meet your experienced instructor who'll give you a demonstration of how it should be done before you take the wheel and have a go for yourselves. There are two package options to pick from:

Package 1 - Make & Paint

After a quick demonstration, each of you will hop on the potter's wheel and have a go at throwing your very own pot. Your tutor will be on hand throughout, so if your pot starts to look more like a doorstop or a pancake they'll help you whip it up into shape in no time.

Once you've finished your creation and you've gotten cleaned up, you'll then get to decorate your pots using a range of paints and decorative slips.

Package 2 - Make & Fire

You'll begin with a speedy demonstration before you take to the wheel and create as many pots, bowls, vases and mugs as you like. Then, you'll pick the best (or the least bad) to be fired and glazed for you to keep.

There are eight wheels available so larger groups will take it in turns to watch before they step up themselves (we'd refrain from making sarcastic comments and laughing at the others until you've had a go for yourselves!). Your pottery expert will be on throughout to answer any questions and give you some pointers.

Not only is this a hilariously fun team building activity, but you'll also each get a little memento to keep to take back to the office as a great reminder of this fantastic experience. Getting messy pottery-style is a great way to break down barriers between your team and a fun way to integrate new members into your group. Get booking!
