One of the craziest, funniest, most energetic and, at times, frenzied team building activities ever created, Beat The Box is all about teamwork. It's not just great fun to be played with complete abandon, it can also be a brilliant monitoring tool to watch how your teamwork under pressure and uncover new skills, talents you might not have spotted before.
The box is filled with folders packed full of puzzles. Some of the puzzles have quite obvious tools or props you'll find in the box. Other challenges will require a lot more creative thinking. The games are all split into clear categories, within each category challenges are worth different points, and this is where the fun begins. Do you all work together to do the most complicated tasks and score the biggest available point totals or do you all work on smaller challenges, worth lesser points and clock up as many as you can in the time? You're racing against the clock, you're racing the other teams, you're racing to pinch the blue rubber duck from another team's box and hope that no one else notices. (Because it's not actually cheating if you don't get caught, right?
One of the great joys of Beat The Box is all your teams work in one large room, keeping everyone together sharing the funny and adding to the crazy, frantic energy, especially as the clock ticks down and the teams' race to complete those last few challenges.
Beat The Box is also a great leveller, whether you're the CEO or a newly joined apprentice, everyone has the chance to shine and you'll get a real insight into personalities and individuals that might otherwise have gone unnoticed.
Most of all, Beat The Box is unadulterated fun. Hugely competitive, utterly absorbing and fully committed team building at its best.
